Still sound awesome. Now my house got 2 set of C3.

Allow me to tell my story to you guys,

I brought my M3400 in Sri Com@Lowyat Plaza because it is cheaper a bit compare to Viewnet. But I'm not happy with the service by the seller. The service was terrible !
I told the stuff that I want M3400 and he said wait. Then I waited for 10mins........

After that, He took the M3400 to the counter and my GF asked him " Buka test dulu ", and the male stuff reply "Ini ada warranty punya, tak perlu buka". And I just  .

And the cashier, I paid her and and she give me the bill "Nah".    Is it hard to say thank you ?

Luckily my speaker works perfectly.  Sri Com really need improve their service quality.

My review on Edifier M3400

It's so heavy(8.8kg) I carried from Lowyat to my house  . Ok, honestly, M3400 looks simple yet great sound quality. The woofer was so wonderful. But the woofer covered with black steel, I can't see the woofer bumping.   When I try puss the woofer volume to the max, "woo woo woo' sound occur, but it's ok to me  . For the satellites, it just simply awesome. And lastly the volume controller, round shape, surround with blue LED, look sexy. 

Sound Quality: 9.5/10
Loudness: 9.0
Bass: 10/10
Overall: 9.5/10

What speaker you can get with budget below RM16X ? Only the M3400 !

Can anyone recommend me an edifier speaker which costs < RM250? Basically I like the look of M3300/ M3300SF but dunno if it's good or not.

At about RM300, which is the best Edifier speaker I can get? About to make the switch from Sonic Gear. I love to have quite an amount of bass but definitely not the level of bass that is noisy (my kind of music isn't trance/techno).

I see there are also a 5.1 system that is near the RM300 range and also some 2.1 system that is near the RM300 range. Which will be better? Although I am not really looking at a 5.1 setup as I don't have much space to allocate for the speakers.

So what DAC are you guys using or rather what DAC is the common and worth buying out there? Hoping it won't be too expensive though.

Planning to pair up my Edifier S530D with Maverick. Yet to try them out though. Just checked with Jaben and they're selling Maverick at RM770. I was wondering on whether is it logical to get a DAC that is more expensive then the speaker.

I'm planning to change my speaker cable by modding my own one. Will drop by at Jalan Pasar to purchase all my modding equipments. Thanks bro for all the advice. You have just cleared my doubts. I am still learning and everyone at here have been a great help to me.

hmm.. did not try mod amp before.. maybe will find one day try on my m3400 first, at least not that "sakit hati" compared to s530d

nice maserati...but,where are the speakers? XD

its the cheap power filter caps....it cannot charge and discharge properly. people who don't know electronics will tell you need to warm up, blast first etc. if you crack up the volume louder and teh sound will break
modern day ic amp doesn't need warm ups unlike tube amps. its start and go.

the higher the value, the longer it needs to charge up. but its not the value need upgrade its the speed. you change it to a more reputable brand with low esr.

That is design by the new designer, gotto to tell him the feedback & it gonna hurt him
