Dear all, I would like to know if any of you have done this before? And are these available in Malaysia or Singapore? QUOTE http://www.paintonscreen.com/index.html I noticed very few of you speak on this. Is there any disadvantage in using products such as these or the 'Goo systems'? Hey guys, really thx for your replies. I just got myself Benq W1000 and in one month will be moving to my new home. I want to project a 16:9 image at 120inch wide. I cannot find off-the-shelf screens this size. Customised is costing more than RM1k.
I like the cloth option very much. Can any of you hint what material I shud buy? Do I still need to paint on it or just the cloth is sufficient? If paint is needed, matt (chaper paint) is better than gloss according to 'redwish5393'. But matt absorbs more than gloss right?
This is my first setup, therefore, I takin in all your professional advises... Thx in advance

I have max throw possibility from 24ft, so no problem there. My seating distance will be between 14-18ft, so I am hoping 10ft width (my max wall width is 14.9ft) will not cause any problems to the eyes.
OK, I'll try e-bay for screens now. Any idea is I can find it in Singapore? BTW, I am in JB.

htkaki,
I've never traded in e-Bay before, so I go to Sing instead and do exactly as you said this weekend. Thx for everybody's input.

jchong, thx for pointing out. So, for my case, if I use diagonal calculation, I need ~137" screen.
geforce1999, R u located in JB? Can I view the screen? Did you buy the Goo paint locally/Singapore?
