hi, just bought dell streak 5 last month. yesterday, when on after charge, it show android.media. error n no simcard detect. i restore to factory default, android.media error settle but simcard still not detect..simcard error. try change the simcard,with old and new simcard, all not detected. can somebody advice what to do? Running android 2.2.2.

tranceiver 18 months warranty
lcd/touch screen/accessories 3 months warranty
dead pixel/root no warranty

i though dead pixel same category with lcd/touchscreen. Streakian here have/had any experience with dead pixel before? really can't claim warranty for dead pixel?

i don't know, but seller said warranty cover by dynamic distributor which is official dell streak distributor in malaysia rite? this brand new streak come with sealed box with dynamic distributor sticker all around, in perfect condition..don't think its ap set

already email dynamic distributor support regarding the dead pixel.. its cover under warranty,just send direct to them for warranty claim.

receipt stated dead pixel no warranty, but that not fair. dead pixel more like manufacturer defect..especially for 3 weeks old phone.

yup, i think seller use same print receipt format for all phones they sold. direct deal with distributor also good,save time. will give a try. me at penang, i bought this unit from KL,online..cheap stock clearance. butterworth one shop still sell this phone rm1779. thanks guys,will update here.

problem with dell streak 7 T-mobile, honeycomb 3.2 streakdroid. i reset to factory default setting..n after reset it ask for password. i didn't set any password before. i search google and said that its global issue for this version. anybody/sifus here know how to solve this or got any link. im noob.

Or anybody can provide service to recover back my dell 7,huhu. im from penang.
