Since already got it so no regret. Enjoy till end of it then get new pc then. I think ur pc still can handle most games in market atm.. just not in highest setting.
Just my point of view ^^ This post has been edited by splinter: Jun 7 2010, 09:22 AM |

If it lags while playing games then get a 5870. That would resolve the problem.

Haha, I think he's playing newer games which requires a higher processing power to generate playable fps. My friend has a E8400 with 4870X2 and it's very powerful, no problems at all

Overclock the cpu helps alot ... Especially CPU demanding games . Get a new cooler and the E5200 should easily hit 3.3-3.4Ghz.

But of course we OC our E5200's kaw kaw, even faster than some quad core machines. Is This Proc And GPU Botlleneck? Sometimes Lag A Bit When Playing Games. there is a common way to test if there any bottleneck.
1) cpu clock set at stock setting, use fraps to record a game fps. 2) overclock the cpu, use fraps to record the same game fps. if there any noticeable different, that means there is cpu bottleneck. |
