i bought my 550D phottix battery grip, use it once, too heavy, not suitable for casual walkabout.
but definitely will use battery grip for event. oh ya, go and buy more batteries for backup. 3rd party battery is very cheap, around rm50 each. |

i dun think 3rd party battery affect the camera.
original battery costs a lot (around rm180 or more), so i just bought 2 phottix batteries for rm100. btw, original canon battery and phottix battery both come with 1 year warranty. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 19 2010, 05:07 PM) just had a lecture from an experienced salesman in lowyat plaza yesterday.at first, i was going for canon 135 L (quoted rm3250 directly, so more or less trustworthy person). later after a very long discussion, i realised that : 1. ultimately i will go FF, undeniably. 2. zoom lens > prime lens, when covering events, including photoshoot events. 3. the two must-have lens for FF, 24-70L and 70-200L, plus 1.7x converter. 4. i dun need prime lens atm. 5. i need UWA lens if i need to cover events, especially wedding events. |

QUOTE(Grajindo @ Jun 25 2010, 02:26 PM) for the colour i could not help you since my monitor itself is not calibrate. but for me, it looks like the green of the vege shouldnt be that. maybe could ask advice from the pros.. QUOTE(deodorant @ Jun 25 2010, 02:29 PM) 1st one the fork shouldn't be there, big distraction. oic. really appreciates your comments.1st one 2nd try way overexposed. your fries and the pineapple the highlights all blown already. 2nd one dof too shallow, you don't even have a full prawn in focus. Dunno what your exif is but for me at 50mm (crop) I shoot f/4 wherever light allows, only go to a wider aperture if really dark. i will try to increase the dof in my next shoot. |
