try raynox 250 filter or those cheap hoya +4 diopter filter to get some macro "kick/feel"
Jumping on the macro wagon and spending huge amount of $$ on lens without knowing anything is deadly

^ nope, not raynox, but i would love to stack it on my tamron 90 for higher magnification

equipment used- tamron 90 F2.8, 5dMkII, 430ExII, hoya +4 filter, OC-E3 cord.
