Im gonna get my Xbox LIVE gold card from my friend. Not that I dont trust him, but I want to know the guidelines before buying these from other ppl. Thanks.

.....No way to tell until you entered the code to your account. You can do it online though thru XBOX LIVE Marketplace website.
