Hi

My friend just bought a new Toshiba Satellite L510, model PSLGQL-002001. NO drivers given with the laptop. When I call to ask and the sales person said now no more driver given, you need to download from the Internet.

What a such thing nowadays? vmad.gif vmad.gif

And I use almost full day to search for the win7 (64bit) driver. I couldn't find the display driver. Anyone can advice which link to get the correct display driver?

Thanks!

That's weird, I thought Toshiba will always provide the system + driver files in the hidden partitions  rclxub.gif
You can always download the drivers from Toshiba's Asia website o: http://www.toshiba-asia.com/portal/public/...entTab=service#
Notebook> Satellite> L510> W7> Display Driver
The one for Intel HD Graphic card is available there I think  laugh.gif

I downloaded the driver and install. During installation there was an error occur. Installation not complete!

Oh so the notebook didn't come with an OS? O___O
What was the error message?
I had the same problem updating my graphic card driver  cry.gif  Something about the 32-bit/64-bit thingy zzz
What happens without installing the driver?
For other drivers you can refer here if you haven't already: http://support.toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows7/..._L510_32_sp.htm
Should the problem persist, it would be best to give Teledynamics a call  icon_rolleyes.gif

This model is freedos.
The error msg is something unable to "install one or more component"...
Without installing correct it's still using windows generic graphic driver. The the resolution is not optimized and look a bit weired.

Do you have the CD when you bought the laptop?
