sorry to be off topic, but lcd are not good handling sd resolution especially astro. better opt for plasma

any big japanese/korea brand LCD HDTV will do just fine, go out there do survey and see the picture quality for yourself, the price is very affordable right now

i found that with my normal Yellow Video input from my DVD is acceptable on my Sharp LC32A66M, but still sometime can see some pixel lo...
Plasma is good for Astro and also SD Video, but if the LCD TV Processor is good it can help to give you nicer picture from Astro and DVD also... ask them to try out with normal DVD at shop but pls remember ask them not to use showroom setting but use home (normally what we use at home) setting... coz showroom setting the colors and contrast is better than home setting smile.gif

Have you compared the composite (that's what the yellow video input is properly called) input to the other inputs - HDMI, component (red green blue inputs) or even S-video?

haha not yet cause not playing most of the movies with my HDPro file player
my fren pass me a lot of his movies on my 1TB HDD in the HD Player smile.gif
maybe i try out tonite if time permit me...
