How different is Tamils in Malaysia, from other country

The most obvious here in Malaysia is they call themselves as Indian than Tamils! Other than that a lot of Malay words in between the talk, i.e. makan ready?, senang, etc... |

Ha ha... Actually Indian is not a race. Its a country with many race including Tamils, Telugu, Malayali, Sikh, etc.... Only Sikh in Malaysia always says they are lain-lain when they're fill up any forms. Anyone wonders this?

perhaps in the looks n language??......even the beggars in chennai can identify malaysian tamils...!!! thats what most of my friends told me..
