Internet with this phone is amazing.

But the battery life is pain in the @$$.

I just book last week for inception somemore on the day of launching. It was fully book then 45mins got alot cancellation lucky i use my phone to book. If u use EON credit card somemore got discount and rebate

Yea can u tell the diffrerence between 65K colour and 16millions colour. I cant can you? Nothing is perfect. For me battery life is alittle turn off but since i have a nokia 5800XM they both share the same battery so i switch between them.

From what you're saying you can flash rootfs but not eMMC?

Like jananan said,this looks like dislodged eMMC problem now.You did mention last time that your N900 dropped quite a few times right?Since you already operated your phone,perhaps it's time for the 2nd round of operation to fix the eMMC.

DiGi line is actually unlimited.
After you reach 3GB quota you don't need to pay anything extra.It's just your internet speed will be downgraded to 2.5G

Sometimes I can use 3GB in 1 day.Max 1 week tops.
Since you can use N900 as modem(rather easily) I'll leech out the bandwidth in any method I can.

I wonder. Firstly, you should take a look at the N900; Then decide whether you care about the colour.

Multi-touch?
It depends on whether you really need this feature (although it doesn't mean Resistive touch can't support this feature).
Those capacitive touch screen, you can't use finger-nails, pen, stylus, etc. and there is no pressure sensitivity, it's super sensitive.
Multi-touch is only really useful for gaming. For web browsing, it's no really that important; If you can use fingernails or stylus, there's no need to waste time to zoom in out, and no need to worry keep touching the wrong link especially if you have big fingers.

Finally, make sure you know what you're getting. The N900 lacks many of the phone features (e.g. contacts grouping, ringtone assignments, etc). It's a very powerful device, but if the user don't know how to utilize it, it may not utlilize it's potential. Just like buying a manual trans sports car, but the driver is a automatic transmission driver and always drive slowly, it's not the car's fault.
If you can learn and utilize this phone, have a little patience (it's like a PC after all), then you will discover many wonderful things on this phone that is not available on most (if not all) of the phones available today.

About multitouch on N900,
I think we'll be better off with simple tap & zoom.Much easier to browse that way.
But of course for games this will be useful.Some game writers managed to get around the multi touch tough.For example SPiN.It's actually multitouch game for Iphone but works just as well on N900.

btw,contacts grouping & ringtone on the way.
Individual ringtone already available but need some tweaks.

We may be a very small community but our combined ideas are larger than iPhone communities put together.

The guys at maemo talk are doing great job with the apps & enhancement.
