N900 have integrated IM.Like me I'm uisng YM so I just install pidgin protocol things & just add my IM.From what I can see with my phone you can add your msn the same way.

Alternatively you can install Pidgin Instant Messenger from app manager.
Always had this problem or what?
My YM is working like charm.

i'm a heavy used of messaging, surfing web, and music player... is this phone capable to me?
just saw some one said that battery drain in use?
*
Battery draining is not an issue, we have multiple ways to charge the battery at the moment plus as @aspire mentioned an addtional BLJ-5J inside the pocket or in the drawer wont do any harm..

Otterbox N900 Case....Its here....

Overall its a very nice Casing...Worth the money paid.

Casing has an Internal Silicon Layer
External Silicon to Close the earjack plug & the Usb port.
Keyboard slide very smooth, like there is nothing attach to it, not like the "Rubberized case" which lifts the Screen from the keyboard and making it hard to slide
Elevated silicon Button for power, camera & volume...
Does not block your N900 Stand
Does not Block the Nokia Logo
Come with a Clear Screen protector but i prefer the Matte by DCMugen

Wonderful case...

Ohhh....This easy only..

I always choose "Press Button" instead of manually for the set up. but you must be near to the router/modem...When you click "Press Button" on your N900 then it will wait for you to press a button on the Modem/router...

Voila...Easy instant set up...terus boleh pakai....

Its very useful and easy....

Similar like this in real life....

N900: Hello...can i come in to eat the cookie...
Router: Yes you can..but you have to Choose to key in password or wait me to press the button to open the door....
N900: (choose to press button) Ill wait for you to press the button then...
Router: (pressing the button) Pressed...you may come in...

hahahahahahaha........sorry for NBTD.......releasing my stress.....kekekekkekek

which button to press..???

It's a well known fact that N900 won't officially support MeeGo but every website with MeeGo news have N900 with MeeGo screenshot on it. doh.gif

I don't know how many times I'm gonna have to repeat this....

With Maemo 5 PR 1.2 release,Nokia released additional statement saying that MeeGo will not officially be available for N900.Meaning as MeeGo is written & tested under N900 it's perfectly possible to run MeeGo in N900 but there won't be any updates for N900's MeeGo in future.

The Maemo community already said that they will be releasing a version of MeeGo for N900 users.

Nokia will still provide support for Maemo 5 though.

QUOTE(Cannibal @ Jun 24 2010, 04:18 PM)
nokia is trying to make their stand. they say they not going to support meego, but u can still install meego as meego community will bring the OS to n900. that mean you will not see meego OS in ovi suite, and if you bring meego n900 to nokia care center, they will not fix for u.

i hope we can be more unhappy and demanding so nokia will work on it. PR1.2 bug fix is going nowhere.

Thanks SIFU's

now im enlightned.. ok that explain Y no one is excited about MeeGo for N900...

Thanks Again. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

They will be future PR updates to fix things in N900.
If the old symbian phones still getting updates why shouldn't we get updates also?

In a way I can understand why Nokia refused to let N900 to run MeeGo.Most probably they want a full state of art device(throw in Cortex A9,512MB RAM etc etc) to run this OS.
Hey,who said no one exited about MeeGo for N900?
I'm still looking forward for the pre-alpha MeeGo release next week.

Whether Nokia gonna officially support MeeGo for N900 or not isn't a big problem to me.I'm sure the Maemo community could make a working alternative version of MeeGo for N900.

Happy to hear that i thought im the only one who is goin to install MeeGo this 30th...

interested to see what they in store for us..
