Saw in The Star paper today, Desa Home Theatre HQ in Kepong is having clearance sale for display unit of lcds/plasmas. So, after went through the advertisement, the price they are offering for the display units seems quite good especially with 2 years warranty included. So, need feedback / opinions from sifus here which one is good in term of picture quality, design and of course, value for money coz most of the units are 2008 / 2009 models. I might go there tomorrow or on Sunday.

I'll take the the below model if I were u;

Sony KLV-46Z550A - 46" Full HD LCD - RM8999 - RM4599 (for a 200Hz LCD, this is a good price)

The price is 50% off, very good deal even for a display unit.

IMHO,

1)The retail price they shown there are clearly overprice.

2) I would stay away from display set, even though they say they will give 2 years warranty etc,,

3) If u really think the price worth it,I think u can get 2nd hand set, at lower price.

4) aside of the above, u are the best judge whether to buy or not to buy

I'll advise you to check with Lyn forummer 1st. u can check in iamsobloodysick thread and skyheart.. both of them provide very good price.
