Hmmm.... what do you guys do when your ps3 freeze?

I normally switch to my other PS3and let this one cool off..

What does it mean when it freeze up?

Hmmm.... what do you guys do when your ps3 freeze?

Happened to me couple of times since the day I bought it.  But yea, curse it, then baru switched off/on the main plug.  Then everything back to normal.

Wow guys if u notice your ps3 hang,DO NOT turn it off via the switch from the back.The best method is to hold the On/Off button on your PS3 for 15 secs + and it will make 2 beep sounds if i'm not wrong and turn off automatically <i'm sure of this.If you have freezing issue,try to make sure the vent and the other holes around the PS3 are clean,because this can cause YLOD.If there is a lot of freezing issue,you got to prepare for the worst...and if you are using a fat ps3 make sure the position is lying down not standing because it would help the ventilation system go well...hope this helps anyone

PS:Just finished RDR wow i must say damn nice ending.Starting MP after i get 100% in game.So anyone who is playing the MP please add me xD My PSN ID is my username xD

You mean vertical or horizontal? Mine got 1 or 2 hang already.

alaa.. kadang2 picit tu PS pun tia pandai off2 tu. tia pandai kluar tu ps punya menu. tu yg terpaksa off pakai suis tu kadang2.
balik2 suda hang ni. abuk pun tabal suda.

@poyohebat alright that would be great if you would come down to kk though, but no pressure. I hope you don't go to KK just to send me the headset though. I will feel bad if that is the case. Take your time, no need to rush ya.

Hai guys..Back from KK..penat and it was raining heavily..

Now, looks like more rare Paparians female gamers..Awesome..
What did I do? Shut it down where it will take for a while until there's a beeping sound twice and it's totally shutting down..

After that, switch it back on and it will all goes back to normal. Then eject the game disc and re-enter it back and voila! you are back on that game..

Reminder, never switch it off directly from the plug and at the back of the console..that way, it can damage the lens like leonix have said...

Actually it happens to me on Thursday night..siok2 main UC2, tiba2 freeze.. I did exactly what I've told you just now..
