Relax paige.pc You're still very early to unlock all chars roles yet. Just keep playing and you will received more roles as you play along. You'll only do some serious leveling once you hit Chapter 11 upwards.

haha not lost just still early in the game. When the game tells you how to use your Crystarium points, that's when you can start to level up your role

It takes a while and lots of CP to increase each role level, and some only unlock after certain boss fight

i hope you do know that you need libra enemy 2 to 3 times for full info (i made that mistake and make my eidolons battle kinda hard a bit)
and for dismantle weapon or accessory,i suggest you max that that (*) for battle dismantle material you will get
and like lilko said,dont bother upgrade weapon before chapter 11
and some accessory got limit (not sell in shop or not drop by monster) for how much you will get(like doctor code is 3 you will got if i not mistake and can be dismantle to elixir)
