whole week no pc, I played ff blindly without guide sweat.gif
eventhough ps3 got internet, with no keyboard Im too lazy too surf tongue.gif
spent 2 hours searching for cieth stones that I missed, they should make them more accessible, map system is so effed up.
mission should at least state where the stones are, not only the target locations.

I think I outdid myself, completed and starred all first 51 mission including faultwarren missions without guide.hehe

still not finish the story yet, and theres a glitch with cieth mission no 52 for me....
cant register mission as completed, need to do another mission, then do it again...

and is it just me, or after saving, youre kinda stuck for a while before you can move?

http://thesilentchief.com/2010/12/26/final...-ffxiii-sequel/

http://dilly-shilly.blogspot.com/2010/12/f...-episode-i.html <--good translation thumbup.gif

the story book that came with xbox ultimate hits ends with a cliffhanger.

sequel/dlc is almost confirmed.I know theres too many plot holes in ff13, even with all the datalogs dry.gif
I mean, I wanna know more about the bad Falcie and good Falcie, the datalogs aint enough.
from what I read (the translation), the story is still in cliffhanger at the end, lightning wandering around in nothingness.
so theres a high chance of a sequel

Its either dlc/ff13-2 or more story books (which I doubt...lol)

and one more possibility....the story just ends there...poor lightning...haha
but the signed plate said "she must not be forgotten", you know, wandering all alone....haha

The conference will be held in January 18th.

Some ppl said episode 2 and so forth would be like FF13 Episode Zero which is web novellas, or drama cd.
But compared to the previous ones, Episode 1 is short, so theres still hope its a dlc/ff13-2

ff13 has a great story, but I think they canned a lot of things...
too many plot holes...
I wanna know more about Titan, Bismark, Cid Raines, Nabaat.
Dont you guys feel their characters and presence in the story are underdeveloped ? sweat.gif

Datalogs are great to fill the gaps, but still not enough...

Just hope they translate the novels too, when they release ff13-2

Of all ff I played, this one feels most incomplete.....

Im a FF fan, played all the FF, excepts the online ones.
Hope FF13-2 wont be as girly and sailormoon-like...zzzzzz

And ff13-2 wont be a prequel, from the last novel(mini novel) looks like its after they saved cocoon, or during the time they blacked out.Something to do with goddess Etro.

Things I dont like in FF13 and would like to improve:
1. Better boss designs, and bring back classic enemies, Vercingetorix is shit, generic boss ever.Seriously, recolored ???
I dont want my malboro as a wand's name, and I want my badass Tonberry King

2.No more limited line ups.I mean, you have to have specific line ups, and you cant freely use combinations of characters when fighting against some enemies.

3.Unrestrained used of summons, I mean I hardly use summons in FF13 cos of the constrains of TP.

4.Better gold and crafting system.ff13 system sucks.Too much trial and error, and you wont go anywhere without guide.

5.A bit more freedom in controlling the ai.ai is fine, but its frustrating having control of only 1 character from a 3 person line up.An example would be you should be able to at least set and prioritize the ai's action, like buff priority. Its silly to take control of a character just because of manual buffing>ai terribad buffing.

I think I read somewhere that they said the next Final Fantasy will be action rpg like Dark Soul is.Too lazy to search and post the source. tongue.gif

Turn based rpg is still viable imo, but in forms of handheld games. nod.gif

For FF13-2 I hope we could customise the auto-action to some degree.
I get it that they wanted it to be fast paced, but its kinda lame that auto-command is fastest most of the time but you dont have full control of your actions.

You either get a little slow due to selecting manually or be fast by using auto-command thats hopefully in your favor.
Its especially true for buffing.

For example, you want to cast haste+bravera as fast as you can, but if you auto-command it, your character will use other spells like protectra or other crap first and if you cast manually, you also lose a significant amount of time (you could be faster).
And it doesnt help that some character dont have some buff spell, like enfire.Meaning that if you want to get buffed with enfire the fastest way possible, you need to use the character with the spell as main character cos if you dont, the AI is gonna spam his other buff spells before finally cast enfire.

I also wish that we could queue spells better, by letting players to customise the auto-command spells, and rearrange the spell sequence in the manual selection menu.
I mean, the only reason you casted late is because the position of the spells, and as you learn more spells, some spells takes longer to pick due to you need to scroll down the menu.
With customisable auto-commands, buffing and debuffing stage would be a hell lot easier and faster.

Lat time they rated Skyrim 40/40.
If 40/40 means on par with Skyrim? hmm.gif

But really, the idea of time travelling lend itself from one of the best rpg ever, Chrono Trigger.
Maybe we'll find some easter eggs?
