If you want to get trapz, suggest to go back to Eden to fight Turtle there. It's much easier to farm for trapz there. Farming Long Gui for trapz is too tough.

recommended team Fang/Lightning/Vanille (Vanille > Hope sebab Vanille ade buff +ra)
1. SEN/SEN/SEN tggu quake.
2. SAB/SAB/SAB smpi die kne daze.
3. SYN/SYN/SYN full debuff termasuk enfire.
4. MED/MED/MED heal kasi full.
5. SAB/RAV/RAV spam smpi stagger 900++
6. COM/COM/COM setel

klu long gui..same gak. tapi bleh debuff kaki je..lepas jatuh baru debuff sume

I think Lightning and Vanille aren't synergize enough as SYN duo. As they will only rebuff/cancel the previous buff.
If lightning cast faith to Fang, Vanille will also cast faithra to fang and cancel faith from lightning.
That's why a SYN's Lightning usually have a SYN's Hope as her partner, they have the same type of buff.

yup. but if you already have the buffs, lightning wont cast the buff on you. so either way is ok. cause the only important buffs are haste (in case no sprint shoes equipped), protectra, bravera. i dont use enfire since it would take longer time to wait for lightning to cast on me.

and for me vanille gives alot of advantages than hope. e.g improve debuff, better strength, higher HP.

but in the end, it all depends on personal preference

What I meant is, why wasting the atb on the first buff if it will only be canceled by others.
And why not let Lightning be a SAB, so that she is fully utilized.
Just let both Fang and Vanille do the buff job and Lighting do all the debuff.

Shaolong gui halves the physical damage received, however a simple imperil + enfire will let Fang do a whooping 350k in a single hit.
fyi, Lighting, Hope or Sazh will only cast enfire if shaolong gui is debuffed with imperil.

but in the end, it all depends on personal preference +1

just manage to kill long gui

1. SEN/SEN/SEN
2. SAB/SAB/SAB (simply the daze not able to stick on this monster , just imperil, poison, deshell & deprotect)
3. SYN/SYN/SYN (yeah must hv enfire)
4. MED/MED/MED heal kasi full.
5. SAB/RAV/RAV spam smpi stagger 900++ (vernille casting death) >then quickly change to com,com,com (can hit 999,999 damage)
6. COM/COM/COM (quickly shift back to sab/rav/rav)

i got 5 stars for killing long gui & gotten my 4th trapz

Guys, I'm not sure how to upgrade my weapon. My main chars are: Lightning, Fang & Hope.

So, right now, I already beat the final boss, currently doing the Cieth missions. So, where do I start??

anyone can recommend tactic to beat the mission 64 boss?

mission 64 so easy to beat...u need to use this strategy

sen/sen/sen
sab/sab/sab
med/med/med
syn/syn/syn

begin the battle with aegisol and fortisol with sab/sab/sab paradigm
when he being infect by poison then change to sen/sen/sen
u dont need to attack it only poison to kill it
when he use wind atk just change to sen/sen/sen
when he use the aura just change to med/med/med to heal ur party and then syn/syn/syn to buff whole party
and when his aura gone change to sab/sab/sab to debuff him
repeat until he die then u get gold watch
for my 1st try i get 3 star then repeat with equip gold watch i get 5 star
same strategy use....

using aegisol & fortisol

1st sab,sab,sab (make sure it get the slow infection & poison to me not important now)
2nd rav,rav,rav (till it stagger)
3rd com,com,com
4th med,med,med
5th syn,syn,syn (haste, bravery,faith, others is not important)
5th sen,sen,sen (whenever the boss using his special sickle blow attack)

stagger the bugger twice, he is gone to heaven

i have done a few mission and some of the mission i cannot get all 5 starts. i noticed that i can come back and retake the mission. Can i retake the mission and try to score 5 stars later or is it just a 1st attempt?

You can keep retrying. If you continue to struggle with getting 5 stars, suggest to get Golden Watch before reattempting.

can anyone who has the guide book tell me if it's worth getting it or is it a complete waste of money?

i mean does it reveal all the secrets or better to save money and get hints from gamefaqs?

If it's the limited edition guide book then I think it's worth it cause it has hardcover and some additional info like backstory, etc.

However if its the normal one you may want to think twice. I've read through the book, and it is not as detailed as some of the gamefaqs. It also does not try to teach you how to get 5 stars for the missions but just basic tactics. Eg it keeps saying use Delta Attack / Mystic Tower combo when I tend to just pummel with Relentless Assault and quick Combat Clinics, thereby getting better timings. Smart Bomb is also good way to go.

My advice stick to the gamefaqs unless its the limited edition, or just have a good read
