Lightning is better with Lionheart, because of the quick stagger ability, really help a lot.

If you haven't complete the story, your crystalium will not unlock the maximum level, so I believe your crystalium only at level 4.

Play FF 13 only when there is no body online co-op with you in Transformers.

Ya, actually I am not a first person shooting game fans, but WFC really give me different feel on FPS game, especially the transforming part, real cool, and not even a bit lag when transforming...

how much is your HP right now?
You can try to summon eidolon first once the battle started, to brought it down, then cast Debrave, DeFaith, Curse, Imperial and Slow on it (Use Fang as leader), after casted quickly change your paradigm to SAB/SYN/SYN. Then transform your bahamut, to continue to do some damage if you want, else just use the final act, and make the bahamut flied away.

If the Haste spell still with your party, then you need to use paradigm RAV/RAV/RAV first instead of SAB/SYN/SYN. Then after first hit, I believe your Haste spell will gone, then change to SAB/SYN/SYN to recharge your Haste and probably buff Brave and Faith as well.

Then continue with shifting between RAV/RAV/RAV, COM/COM/RAV, staggered then COM/COM/COM. Then once it HP reached a point that you can one shot with Highwind to kill it.

If the tortoise debuff with Daze, then you can finish it with Highwind even it still left 50% HP. You can go youtube and look for the tip for this one or refer to previous pages. This one they use Snow to cast Daze.

Don't rush to attack Orphan after you being hit by the merciless attack, always keep your HP in full bar, should be no problem to kill Orphan.

Added on July 16, 2010, 8:41 amNo, you really need to focus on killing one first FAST before move to the second, preemptive attack will help a lot when dealing with 3 tonberry, after preemptive, kill one of the tonberry before the stagger finished. COM/COM/COM won't help to kill tonberry fast, you need to debuff the tonberry no matter how, especially debuff the tonberry with SLOW, it helped a lot.

Because FF don't have EASY, MEDIUM and HARD mode. So why bother to save the weapons and brought forward to when you play second time... You play second time in FF 13 is start a new game, not advanced from easy setting to medium or hard setting. You set the wrong expectation, nothing wrong with the game itself.

If can saved for a new game, then will be no challenge for the game if you play again... You will like God if use the ultimate weapon at the beginning stage.

Added on July 17, 2010, 9:45 pmI believe that most probably is the console problem, time to change a new PS3 for him. Is very hard for a software to ruin your PS3.
I am not sure whether the complaint you read same as mine, so far I just saw one person experience that only, probably he played FF 13 for 24 hours non stop and the PS3 overheat.

I played FF13 - R3 with more than accumulated 130 hours with platinum, so far no problem, not even freeze once, this is the only game I never have freeze problem.

So no worry, go ahead and get it and enjoy.

Personally I think you are still weak to deal with the turtle.
Try to grind more. And get 3 Sprint Shoe and equipped on your three characters, Sazh is weak.
You may upgrade your weapon until * for first level, if you want to upgrade to 2nd level also can, is up to you, right now is a good time to upgrade weapon if you have enough resources.

Why you wait R1? R3 is much cheaper, since no DLC for FF 13.

Doesn't matter about the HP. The different of ShaoLongGui and Adamantoise is ShaoLongGui harder to kill compare to Adamantoise.

You need to finish the 6 circling cieth stone missions to unlock shao long gui.

Shao long gui and long gui are much more powerful and tougher, and also the attack pattern a bit different compare to adamantoise and adamantortoise.

If can, go fight Adamantoise to get CP, and at the same time you can get the platinum ingot and trapz. Save time if targeting for platinum.

Did you cast Daze and then use Highwind to finish it as what had been suggested in previous posts.

No need to get to omega weapon to kill Adam, just upgrade it to 2nd tier, more than enough. If want to get omega weapon, hunt Adam for plat ingot and trapz. Just be patient.

Not enough, max out 3 roles for each char, 1 main and 2 secondary. Your party still weak.
