If you play the assasin creed's series, you will get what i mean, where are the direction they are taking with XIII.

i fought omega monster back in FFX or FFX-2..i don't quite remember

but it look almost the same..4 legged organic beast with one body

but FF13-2 looks robotic

So you are correct in saying that it looks similar to the one in FF XIII-2 that looks more robotic.

very tough to beat

I think all monsters/summons are quite similar. Eg bahamuts, odins, etc.

Anyway, from this thread i guess the game must be a vast improvement over FF13, and the storyline really makes me itch to play the game. Waiting for the Jap voice / eng subtitle version. Played the FF13 english one but feel got not enough kick compared to jap voice (like Yakuza!)

ANyway the Omega in FFXIII-2 looks similiar to the FFXII version which is the Omega Mark XII as well

A little info about the monsters, just to share with you guys.

1. You upgrade your monsters using items. Not CP points.
2. You can transfer monsters ability from one to another.
3. Transferring a monster's ability makes you lose the monster. In other words, you have to catch it again.
4. One monster has only one job. You can't change jobs like Serah or Noel.
5. They are way much more powerful than Noel and Serah if you find the correct one to upgrade in the early stages.
6. No accessory slots for monsters.
7. You can decorate your monsters with an item. (eg. Hat, umbrella, ribbon, etc.)
8. You sync with monsters to activate a special ability. Each one has a unique ability.

Well, in a way, it's pretty interesting to have a monster in your party since there's a lot of customization going on too. I was quite uptight about it initially. xD

why you still playing that gay FF XIV game? go play with serah la!

Ff14 have mog king hunt event

It might be the same Omega as in FFV where it traveled between dimensions and etc etc

I don't know why the PS3 sets only put 1 character on it. Would prefer if there is Serah playing with the Mog
