seem like the plot is really running away from the comic..significant events did not change though...

I found season 2 to be boring. Season 1 and Season 3 much better.

I watch TV series the walking dead regularly. I think this TV series is a very terrible series. My advice to weak heart person, should avoid this series.

what i see in S2 is rick making the wrong decision again and again and again. Shane is more sane (other than the occasional mental breakdown) and making better decision. example as below

1) saving sophia. come on. more than 3 days. a little girl. woods with walkers. what are the chances of sophia surviving? if she's not killed by walker, she would starve to death

2) saving randall. with so many walkers closing in, he's willing to risk his group life to save someone who tried to kill him a few minutes ago

3) imagine if its rick and otis who went to get the supply for carl, not shane. will he survive? no. he will try to save otis and die trying.

4) saving randall, again. its common sense. the kid know where they are. his group is make out of 30 people with heavy guns. how many people rick has that can handle a gun? seven? eight? not to mention glenn still pissed his pants when being fired at, maggie probably never had much experience with guns at that time, same goes for t-dog and andrea. and there's no reason why the kid wont lead his group back to attack rick. he wasnt treated "nicely" by rick's group

5) randall again. sending him out 18 miles but unable to leave him there. then proceed to drive further to town and almost get overwhelmed by zombies. seriously he needs to stop abusing his plot armor. if its anyone else that does not have plot armor, they will be dead (look at shane)

of all the reasons above, shane is the one who advise rick to make the right decision. but rick never listened and put the group safety at risk. this is also the reason why i hate dale.
