I thought reso is manufacturer dependent?

I tweaked around and load into 1440x900 and I notice certain smaller text seem a bit blurrish especially those at the edge, the font seems a bit grainy like. Toned down to 1920x960 and the text looks "sharper". This seem like what happened to Empire when it was first release but less noticeable.  hmm.gif

urrm.. 1440x900 to 1920x960 is not toning down smile.gif You are actually getting more pixels viewed. That's why you have sharper images. At 22" if you set reso to 1440x900 you'd see more jaggedness.

Generally, their respective reso are as follows:
24-27inch = 1920x 1080
22inch = 1680x1050
17-19inch = 1440x900

For instance, 27inch at 1920x1080, the fonts should look quite big as opposed to 24 inch at 1920x1080.

I tested.. 22" is the sweet spot for 1920x1080 reso. 24" and above should at least go 1920x1200.
