Kesian the fella, he was just posting a comment/thought/statement/2 cents.

"worshipping the cheap and belittling the pricier option"
why such exaggeration?   laugh.gif

Why are you being so harsh on him? It's as though he said something that directly affected you. Take a chill pill.  icon_idea.gif

Its different when you are 'up' there and you are 'in a position' to get all the good stuff. Lets just leave the 'hey I worked hard enough to earn it' arguments later biggrin.gif. I would have done the same and I believe everyone would do the same too. But having said that, everyone deserves to get the iPad or whatever devices they wishes for. Even if they have to break their last piggy bank. Don't judge hehehehe...

Obviously people value things or perceive value differently. Some are just contented with a regular screen protector while some just likes to go plain vanilla. Hey, its their devices hehehehe...

p/s: By the way, I'm gonna shop for the air support? screen protector this weekend. I hate finger prints tongue.gif

Seriously and this is not a joke, I'm gonna get the powersupport product this weekend. I'm sorry for the misspellings and it is not in my intention to create something funny out of it. nod.gif

Not because I have a change of heart but I see a need for it and I have some freedom in cash now. I will still go for something cheaper if there are good alternatives. It goes to show that we have different preferences and it may not make sense. Most importantly, it make sense for ourselves. Thats all that matter.

Cheers bro... we respect you... and your iPhone 4... and your cash/lifestyle. biggrin.gif

Bro, how come ur iBook
Can read PDF???

New iBook app update now enables PDF viewing. smile.gif

By the way guys! I got the PowerSupport Anti-Glare screen protector. At first glance, it has the 'limitations' I expected. That is the matte finish disperses light around and its not as 'contrasty' as before. I once had a similar grade matte screen protector for my ex-HD2. Anyway I expected this so no worries there. But I do acknowledge the 'smoothing' of pixels as reported by most users. Also I'm not sure if this placebo but it does make colors look a tiny wee bit richer.

So now I have protection on the screen! Lets get it over with. rclxms.gif

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Jun 27 2010, 10:33 PM)
I can carry on with my side of the opinion, but I'll take the higher road and be the bigger person and stop while I'm ahead. Don't have to win a popularity contest to know where people stand and what their ulterior motives are.

I know where I stand, and from where I stand, at least I have the conviction to stand by my principles. It's more of a waste of money to spend on cheap products and pray for a miracle that it'll last as long as the more reliable (thus higher pricetag), and then continue replacing them because they wear out faster..

The next person who says "chill out" and "don't be serious", take a moment and read back at previous posts and see "who" and which parts of "who's" post that instigated and evoked this response of mine. Since my last "controversial" post, I have kept my counsel to myself, but if you "poke", rest assured I'll poke you back equally hard. Don't expect an easy ride from me.

Your move. I have moved on from the previous "hot bed of coals" , if you choose to tango, I'll dance. It takes two to tango, the same applies to an argument.
*
Woah bro... come on man... you're getting this a little too down south bro. I don't know who is poking on you but I think certain people just want you to accept how things are. In this world, there are times where you can't have the best for some reasons. Given the choice, I believe people would but in the real world it isn't as straight forward as that.

I mean you should be grateful cause you're in the position to own all the great stuff. I don't doubt you at all. But have a little time to understand that people have varying needs and expectations. Thats why we see so many products at varying price points to cater for different consumers. And you shouldn't force your opinion onto others. Nor should you reject them since they have different opinion than yours. I mean you have a great point on screen protectors. I believe you have encountered a situation where people just say no, no matter how hard you tried to reason.

So do we get a smile or not? smile.gif

lol

btw, i was browsing machines bsc and noticed they had ipad SP but the price was 199? apa brand ah? i tot the most was in the 139 range (while the cheap ones at 25-40)? (even the one i use which i bought way back was 80 at cekik darah price).
*
Got so expensive meh? I was in Machine in MV the other day and the most expensive was RM118. I saw SwitchEasy's alternative sold around 60 something. Quality looks the same but I can never tell it will perform since you have to stick it on (which mean I have to pay first tongue.gif )

By the way, yes its all cekik darah hehehe... I mean if you are someone who works in a manufacturing industry, you will know how much darah you and me had coughed out hehehe... Not to say I don't recognize a company's right to profit but come on...

heard that ipad cant support flash..is tat true? and can it insert v local sim..?

iPad like any Apple products do not support flash for some reasons hehehe... but it does support HTML v5 which is an alternative but nothing solid yet. Flash is still the way to go. Surprisingly a lot of sites are still functional on the iPad. So it depends on the pages you go to.
