1. Yeah, it's priced similarly to Apple's wireless keyboard; but Apple's doesn't come with a stand for the iPad.
2. Will either get a protective film behind or put both in a sleeve when not in use. Problem is, if I just want to use the iPad by itself for a short while, it takes a 2-hand effort to remove it from the case.
3. Yeah, it looks really cool. You should watch a video demonstration on it

I don't mind too much about the bulkiness.
Things that are in consideration right now is:
- Convenience: what if I just want to use the iPad by itself?
- Protection: do I need to get another sleeve?
- Price: for the ZAGGmate, I can get a pair of ZAGG earphones for free, which I can probably sell for ~30. Then 1 & 2 would be considered as the same price. But for 1 & 2 I need to get sleeve, whereas for 3 I'll need either smart cover or a screen protector. But 3's original price is pretty absurd

The main problem now is that I don't know where to go to find test units. If I can test them, it will help me decide a hell lot better.
1. I reckon you to get a case, a case which can act like a stand. I myself using the Switcheasy Canvas, tough and can act like a horizontal stand. Bought the wireless keyboard and magic mouse(you have to JB to use this one) from apple and it work flawlessly.
2. Yes, it will be hassle to take the casing in and out most of the while and you might end up sractching the iPad itself.
3. Yes it does looks cool, just IMO, I don't like bulkiness and plastically feel.
