I've used this
Belkin N1 Vision router some years back. Looks good, but never liked the config user interface and also the firmware back then did not allow users to assign specific IP addresses to devices. This means each time the device connects to the router, it assigns a random IP to the device, making it a b1tch to port forward and do other networking stuff that requires a fixed IP. Not sure if the firmware has been updated since then, but I've never looked back since.
Not a big fan of D-Links. Never liked them due to their form factor, not because they're technically inferior in any way. Have read many good reviews of their routers. Nice, easy to understand config user interface.
Have been using several Netgear routers over the years, and have not had any major problems with them, except some of them just died for no reason.

Their customer service and forums suck though. Currently using
this one. Getting good performance from it and reliable wifi connections compared to the older Netgears. Also allows users to prioritize bandwidth for devices (e.g. game console) or functions (e.g. HD streaming). Also allows for dual SSID and also separate guest login SSID with restricted access to your home network. No complaints from me so far. U can also do that network shared hard drive thingy thru the USB port on the router, but performance wise a standalone NAS solution would offer better performance and reliability. This router has most of the functions you'd expect from any current-gen router.
