The spec is somewhat of the same as Milestone though you are getting 8MP + Xenon. That will push the price somewhat.

Oh and, the Chinese counterpart is XT701. XT720 for South Korean while XT711 for UK market (with possible MOTOROI codename).

The supposed UK version is not black, but instead 'gold rose'.

You're getting this wrong. China already has that phone, earlier than any country. Next on the list is South Korea and now for UK markets.

The 'cacat' right side has been there from the beginning. Only thing differs from China market and UK are the color.

XT701 is 5MP + Xenon Flash and dun have HDMI port and 720P, release in China, Taiwan, HK already..

if it has xenon flash, it better has a better overall picture quality and interface. Or else, it will be like as if putting a Proton campro in a BMW.

looks like many ppl's 1st impression on this phone is to comment on the uneven right-hand-side...

Hopefully this annoying looking phone will perform better than Milestone..
If not, like someone said, putting "campro in BMW".. If not, it'll be useless for sure..

Well, i havent got the chance to feel it yet, but perhaps it helps a bit when holding the phone during conversation?

I dunno about anyone else, but for me, whenever i am making a phone call, I,ll just grab the right side with the tip of my thumb and when the conversation is very long, my thumb will begin to sore. Perhaps that bump on the right side of the phone is to provide a "resting" place for the thumb when making a phone call.

A place for dediacted camera buttons and to keep sore thumbs away. Pretty much killing two birds with one stone.
