I've bought the 42inch version. Quality is good. It also depends what type of DVD we play lah Some Ahem DVDs are better than others the picture is very clear. Oh, remember to buy a DVD player that can upscale to Full HD.

Nope - won't pay monthly subscription to watch adverts in HD. It's as bad as normal TV now. In an hour's show 25 mins is dedicated to adverts... and we're expected to pay for that? No thanks.

Added on June 24, 2010, 11:56 amThe trend maybe well that, but still not adopted by the masses yet because the prices of the BD Discs are still expensive. I'll wait for the players & discs to come down in price. Right now, HD quality is good enough for me.

Yup have watched the BD discs before - they are very nice no doubt Just that for me I am not willing to spend that type of money for BD quality. I don't think the value vs quality is balanced yet. Anyhow this is subjective, some people may think it's worth it while others don't think so. I guess we'll all make choices which we think suits our needs & budgets.
