I don't have PVR yet, but with MAX, just press pause , then press pause again.
You can try it with PVR

Few question

1) Did HD channel has a subtitles?
2) Did the program in both SD and HD channel is the same?

Now..I'm really need to choose...
Subtitles with SD or HD without subtitles...

p/s : Don't really need subtitle...but it easier to have it...especially when Lauren Graham talking...

Just got PVR today....it much faster than MAX...but one important thing missing...

1) Where is the planner?? In order to record TV Series, I need to manually record every week??? At least in MAX, there is planner to record weekly or daily...
ASTRO should enable record all series quickkkk!!!!...

2) To delete..or record.....PLEASE ask for CONFIRMATION....just like MAX.

5) Just a suggestion. It will great if we can organize our recorded programme. Maybe (if possible) to create some sort of folder....rename it, and then move the recorded programmme to the folder. It will be nice and easy to view if you have like 200 programme on the harddisk....

Series Link just available...but still need to improve...
Some difficulties with series link :-

1) Some programme have the series link available , some are not....(maybe they still in updating process)
Eg : There is series link in CSI for Monday but not in Wednesday (again could still be in updating process)





But

We still need manual Planner. IF that programme is not included in the SERIES LINK...but we need to watch it every week....(e.g. Movie Night on 8Tv)

~ Work annoyingly and weird.


When click series link......the series will go under All Series TAB..

The weird and annoying thing is that, all the series, even the repeat all also will be BOOKED for RECORD.
I'll try this with Tv Series : Numb3rs...

It just record the episode in channel AXN 701, and AXN 721 at the same time, 12 noon, and again another at 3 pm

So, if the series have so many repeat, ALL will be recorded in your PVR.....

But you need selected time only....you have delete all the repeat manually....(so annoying)...

So...it's better not to have series link.




So, ASTRO, anyone....
Please change this, I'm only want to record ALL THE SERIES at THAT SPECIFIC TIME of THE WEEK only...!!


And AGAIN.......Manual Planner please!!

Annoying thing with PVR (that MAX do it better)

1) After finish watching recorded episode, only two option - STOP (will go to the channel live from astro), or REWIND (rewind episode)
Where is the DELETE option. (Very annoying to press home again and find the same episode that i need to delete)
Where is the WATCH FROM THE START OPTION.


2) Preview. No preview the episode that has been recorded on the small screen.
This is good feature in Astromax, because when there is so many same title episode, you;ll know which one to watch again, or to delete....without clicking on it to preview againnn...


3) Series Link. NOT GOOD AT ALL when you don't have option to record weekly only, or daily....instead of record all the repeted episode so many times....

4) No Manual Planner to record the programme weekly, when those programme is not have series link.

5) Forward Button. I actually like the 30 second fast forward feature in MAX. Easy to forward through the advetisement.



Hopefully someone from Astro can read this make improvement when necessary.......

I believe it will start recording from the time you start watching. If you press watch from the start but press record halfway...it will record from the time you start watching.

You can recond a segment, by changing the channel you currently watching to other channel then change it back. The buffer will gone...

For series link....how will the series link will differentiate between CSI for current season with old season.

Lets say, I'm only want to record new CSI episode, season 10 , every Wednesday, weekly....
Let's say there is also CSI episode season 9 repeat with different episode everyday at 7.00 am

Will it only record CSI season 10 one time....or will it also record all the different episode including the season 9 one???
