im having problems downloading apps from the internet

it kept saying web page not available web page at <download url> might be temporarily down ......

FYI im using my collge wifi

if u asking either i can open facebook or not, the answer is yes. even loading youtube vid.

i set it to static IP with the same address of the router.

What website exactly are you trying to access? Have you tried accessing it using a normal PC browser?

Last time my G1 can't dl from market was because i was using 1.5, until i upgrade to 1.6 then no problem already..

someone did understand what i mean. its v1.5

I think that's the problem... previously because of my 1.5 i can't dl any apps because the app market is updated and 1.5 can't access..
You'll need to get 1.6 and above
Since you're using HTC Hero, i tot the update to 2.1 already out? no?

FYI I'm able to download stuff using Android V1.5. May not be related to the version.

may i ask. where did u actully dl the apps? myb there is problm with the webste. mind to share?
