Hi all,

I've actually been facing this problem for quite some time now so perhaps someone here could help?

im looking to buy MS points for DLC, but all the websites which sell MS points online AND delivers the codes to your email is only applicable to US and Europe accounts, but not Asia. why is that?

the only way right now i get my points is by going to gaming shops, like Gamers Hideout to buy the actual points card itself, but i find that too damn tedious and such a waste of time~

anyone found any websites or any other ways where i can buy MS points which WILL work for Asian consoles, which doesnt involve having the points card actually physically shipped to you?

any advice or solutions is appreciated smile.gif thank you!!

p.s: and plz dont recommend the 2 accounts loop-hole thing... one being US account, u buy points, download stuff from marketplace then switch to asian profile to play. im kindly asking for a method which doesnt involve this. sweat.gif

Check out GamersHideout and Play-Asia as they sell the Asian version. But it can't be guaranteed that you can only receive the code. Not all companies are that kind to do you a favor when everyone else is already following the standards.

I buy it online from a site from Singapore , and have the code emailed to me in an hour or so.Pricing is good and defo cheaper than GH(sorry guys!) Much faster than waiting for 7-14 days via PlayAsia. I know for sure PlayAsia doesn't send the code via email,by policy.

Will drop the link here shortly.

Yeah their SG points are expensive, I've been getting 4200pts (EU) @RM160-170 for the last few months thanks to the exchange rate.

Here you go, site is gameshop.com.sg. I've bought from them before so they are reliable. You'll just need to indicate to send via email on checkout/payment.

Guys, I have done this before and it works.

1. go to www.maximuscards.com
2. buy the US or Euro MS points (I paid via Paypal)
3. get the US code in your email
4. setup a US account in XBOX live
5. enter the US code in XBOX live for DLC or game
6. download the DLC/game
7. sign out of US account and sign in using Asian account, the DLC/game would still be installed on your harddrive
8. Play using Asian account

Don't know why anyone is not doing the above, but I am sure there's some drawback. Can't figure any yet.

If your user/console isn't connected to LIVE at that moment, are you still able to start the game as full paid version?

TS, you can buy MS points direct from Play Asia. They will then email and ask you whether you prefer them to courier the points card or email you the points code directly. I got them to email me the points code, and they did so within 2 days of my purchase. Excellent service!

Thanks alot!!! will give it a try later when i get home smile.gif will update here if all goes well smile.gif

update: submitted an order but sadly, its not instant... which makes me wonder why those websites from US/EU can provide instant codes and not us.... will update again once i'm actually asked to provide payment.

i thought they would as well. emailed them to ask them if they could have the codes emailed to me instead of the physical card itself, but never got a reply from them! jz sent another one yesterday and hoping they can help answer this question once and for all soon...

yeah, there is this method, but not all players, including me like this method cuz its a loop-hole in the system. i dont think there's anything wrong doing it this way according to Xbox EULA, but i prefer the method i mentioned above smile.gif

Thank you for contacting Play-Asia.com.
I am sorry that we cannot send the code by email under our policy.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
