The lift seems to work now. So what is the outstanding? It has been more than 1/2 years of late handover...

I am one of the purchasers too. Before I paid the deposit , I was promised the apartment will be ready by Jan/Feb 2008. Its 2008!, Now its 2010, the developer managed to give the Notice of Hading of Vacant Possession but with a BIG Slap on the purchasers.
They had billed the late interest overdue amounting to RM1450++, Do not know how they came to this figure. Even if they were to claim this figure as an outstanding overdue interest, they should clearly put it in writing the amount outstanding, the days of delay incurred and the interest rate charged to their claim. Nevertheless, this is NOT the problem of the ourchasers who obtain bank loan. The deposit paid by the purchaser with the balance of poayment to be released peridically by the financiers depending on the submission of work done by the developer to the financier.
If the payment is delayed by the financier, the developer should cvlaim from the banks and not from the innocent purchasers who are not in the picture of claims by the developer from the banks.
Why is the developer killing the innocent purchasers to pay for uncountable interest charges?
