Why on earth invest in Simple when you can invest in Versa for better liquidity doh.gif

When investing in SA better go for invest portfolio as the returns and liquidity are way faster than Simple by 2 days

There are many ways to make a good living. You are restricted by your ethics, by your culture and heritage, by your connections, and sometimes by your capability.

But when you find a way, what do you do with the other people who are using the same way? 'Blue ocean strategy' only works until a bigger shark than you comes along. So no matter what you must grow to become a shark.

Which bank in Malaysia can save in foreign currency like SGD, RMB etc?

Which bank is better as well as interest earn? OCBC?
*
Most banks has dual currency account but the easiest to apply at the moment would be OCBC, HSBC or HLB

With current rates are so low you can forget about interest as most of this account transactional function

Pm me your telegram Id if you need further info on it rclxms.gif

Thanks for the new info about SGD.HKD. Er you do know that you it's difficult to move USD around in SG Vs HK right? I believed you can do like a FAST transfer for USD in HK but not in SG.

In SG, you are only limited to
1) cheque
2) TT
3) Same bank transfer for USD.
When you want to move USD.

Been trying to look for something like FAST for USD but seems the tech isn't available in SG yet. Based off chat with customer service.
Use Sunway money. You will get better rates.

Not worth SGDHKD while USDHKD is pegged at 7.75 so no need worry about FX rate

Guys dont need panic(just in case anyone actually was) Looking back at his posts history, he was put on cimb watch list for some crypto scam or something.
Not cimb sg shutting down. So most likely he was singled out.
*
Either that or his loan intake is high from either CC or PL hence which DCA is for securitised his account

Called them before months back when my acc closed but they said can't disclose reason.. Guess was because high volume of transactions..
But this time very minimal transaction but kena also
Dood, total nonsense.. It has nothing to do with crypto.. And the watch list thing is just as simple as I tf money to u for something, but report police say ure scamming and not releasing goods I've paid for (when I actually already did) and then next thing u know Ure in watch list..

Anyway that was Malaysia side.. Nothing to do with SG.
What is cc or pl? I don't have any loans except for a recent HP loan

Stop assuming🤦

I have friends who done very little transactions also kena closed... Of course some like mine was high volume transactions then agak agak la..

I'm not trader of crypto also btw

The reason why’s now we know that you’re a liability to CIMB with HP loan, high volume transactions hence to securitised your account DCA is needed which is very extreme from the bank side as they would’ve been about repayment doh.gif

As long as you're confident, go fight for your rights.
Not interested in the actual reason.
Your initial post was almost implying that cimb sg was closing all accounts, was just debunking that.

And causing minor panic and heart attacks in some doh.gif

Nah... My message was that they been very sensitive of lately.. Aside frm mine and sis, I know of 3 other ppl who also had their accs closed and the past few months..

1 was high volume.. 1 said he had few txns only a week... Another barely used..
*
If your account and those did cross transfer to each other the only reason why to be closed it is because high risk and suspected of AMLA/CTFL doh.gif

Some things he wrote up there are wrong,... tho' with the new VTL betw SG and MY,... some things have become right. Anyway,... I think,... CIMB SG may not be a 'safe bank' to put all your money in anymore with the removal of the FSIE next year. JMHO.... dry.gif

This written before VTL was announced doh.gif

The only way CIMB SG will closed is that MAS revoke the license which probably close to 0

CIMB SG will be held easily for inward transfers back and will alert IRB easily via CIMB MY

Tq,...

To ur first statement,... yes, aware of that. That's why I put ...tho' with the new VTL (etc),...

To ur second stataement, there are certain reasons imposed by MAS for CIMB SG to follow in order to close an acct without giving further reasons to the acct-holder.

To ur third statement, yes, I thot so too,....

Usually when CIMB SG close account it 98% due to AMLA/CTFL so very rare it happens unless it very frequent activity by the account holder
