About this Maybank iSavvy account, once created can i transfer money from MBB Malaysia to MBB Sg monthly online? Or do i need to go to the bank to make the transfers? I am planning to make a savings account actually at Sg.

Hi, i saw the linkage already in my CIMB account. I'm planning to transfer the money for e-KYC, is the option below correct (migrant transfer)? Our MY one is so simple if compared to SG one tongue.gif

I was just wondering, when i was filling the form, they asked about TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) and i said Malaysia does not have it (picture as below).

Is that correct?

TIN is your tax number, basically your personal income tax number with LHDN.

If you don't have it because you don't qualify to declare taxes to LHDN,, fine.

But if you have LHDN filing you better fill it up correctly, at least for LHDN to be aware of your foreign account's existence.

Oops then mine is a mistake already, any idea if i can get the customer service to make the changes for me? Or when i get the verification call, i can tell them?

As long they don't cancel the whole application tongue.gif

Actually I made the same mistake - I wrote Malaysia doesn't issue TIN haha
Few days later, their customer service called me to confirm my intention and asked for my income tax number, I guess they're well aware of noob Malaysians like us filling this up wrongly all the time lol. They kindly waited for 1-2 minutes for me to look up the document immediately and helped me amended my application right there. Took a few more days after that for the CIMB SG Clicks PIN to come and now it's up and running!

So, yes I think you can wait for the verification call, good luck!

I knew i wasn't the only one who will make this mistake haha. tongue.gif

I did send their customer service an email yesterday but if they will call me regarding it, then it will be easier.

Thank you for letting me know.

I just got the call from CIMB SG, i told them i need the ASEAN account for buying stocks and he said stock investment, i said yes.

I also told the guy to update the TIN thing and gave him my tax no, he said ok. It will be sent for management approval and might take more than 2-3 days it seems because there are many applications tongue.gif

The SGD1000 transfer, can i wait until the account is approved to open (means i receive the email) or must send it before hand?

Edited:
- Just noticed someone managed to get the login/approval without depositing the SGD1k.

I believe the email is triggered to send right before your deposit that's why, but to confirm, you can blast them a call or email

Probably, i will give them 1-2 more days to see if there's anything and then i will call/email them.

Hi, i just got my login sms and i did the first time login via pc. All ok. The CIMB SG layout reminds me of the ancient PB system (many years ago) tongue.gif

The issue that i'm having now is with the app, it just keeps loading after i've keyed in my details but on the top it shows logout (so i presume it is logged on). Is this app buggy normally? I'm trying to set up the digital token.

Update:
Works now after trying from morning doh.gif
