If you are Malaysian, no Singapore residence and no private banking, Just go to Maybank Singapore branches physically and open a banking account over there as long as you don't launder money.

Last time can. Since 1mdb they have blocked us. The only way left is from Malaysia side.

Many thanks to 1mdb. Spoil our name internationally. vmad.gif vmad.gif

Not really, try again after COVID-19 outbreak is partially settled, in 2-3 months.

They blanket rule it to make their life easier. Agreed. Let small fish through. Usually big fish easier cause banks want the money.
I tried before this Covid stuff. About 5 years back. When 1mdb was exposed. I went to maybank sg HQ,  all sg banks.  They told me straight cannot open because I don't have working pass. Last time special exceptions for Malaysians. Since 1mdb the exceptions have been withdrawn.

Try again.
I was supposed to open my account in February but deferred due to COVID-19 outbreak.
