The parcel did comes with a token as well. Whats the function of the token? Like ours, more than 30k 50k then need token to approve?

Also, do you guys receive a debit card as well? and how long it takes to auto debit from msia mbb account?

why did the poslagu returned it to them? because when they send to your house u are away? i noticed that too on maybank.sg website , but then when when i apply for it, it is still $500 only (on 17/1/2017). for ur current situation ,  i think u better email or call to the maybank sg to check on ur current status

Really? The website (http://info.maybank2u.com.sg/personal/depo...gs-account.aspx) did not mention about higher initial deposit of SGD 5000.

Even if we can withdraw SGD 4500 after account opening, we still need to prepare SGD 4500 of money, probably by exchanging RM to SGD at bank's poor exchange rate. Man, not all of us do have SGD 5000 ready in cash.   
You can argue that Maybank Singapore officers have not briefed Maybank Malaysia officers in KL Main Branch, about the higher initial deposit of SGD 5000.

Thus, Maybank Singapore should allow you to open iSavvy saving account, as per the previous rule of the initial deposit of SGD 500, in this transitional period.

dun worry bro, cause before i went to the maybank i've do some research on it , i also saw the $5000 initial deposit, but i think should be fine

i can only hope/pray so, otherwise very troublesome... like the Chinese saying, two heads also don't reach shore.

i can't imagine the hassle and time require to have them return me the cheque and convert it back to MYR, plus possible losses due to exchange rate. at the same time, i don't feel like going to open anymore if it requires $S5k initial deposit, the bank's exchange rate is blood sucking, i just stick with my other SG bank acc without debit card.

ytd maybank sg called me said my application is approved on 24/2 and i will get my letter this week or next week but then i never receive the mssg from maybank sg , the one u show here last time . hmmm

For some Malaysian debit cards, we need to key in temporary PIN number in ATM, and change the PIN number of debit card to our own preferred PIN number.

But, I am unsure whether it is applicable for Maybank Singapore debit card or not.

If we can use Maybank Singapore debit card to withdraw cash in any Maybank Malaysia ATM, can we use Maybank Malaysia ATM to set a new PIN number for our Maybank Singapore debit card? 

But if I do international freelance work and get paid to this "SG" account, do I get taxed here or in SG?
