QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 31 2021, 01:43 PM) After filling up the fastsaver page, they will email you the bank account for you to deposit sgd1k or sgd1k for eKYC. i mean after u click submit at the final step of application page, do we get the account number instantly?Cause how to proceed with eKYC if you don't have the account number to deposit your money? because i only got a application reference number only |

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Dec 31 2021, 06:38 PM) Check your email, spam folder. Forgot already. If nothing, wait a few days to up to a week. If don't have anything by then, give CIMB SG a call. thanks for the info..https://ringgitfreedom.com/banking/opening-...for-malaysians/ but yea, i did follow the blog guide.. as well as other various similar guide regarding this topic.. but most seems like mentioned it's instant generation of account number? thus decided to check here anyone facing same issues where the account number is not given instantly? |

QUOTE(Mr Gray @ Feb 3 2023, 08:42 PM) Apply here. cool.. maybank finally heading in the cimb sg/my route?https://www.maybank2u.com.sg/en/personal/cr...gd-account.page I just follow exact step as instructed there only. Click click click. 5 minutes all done. Just also noticed in the FAQ that Al-Rihla has the lowest minimum balance of SGD200. That would be a better option than iSAVVY which has SGD500 minimum balance. but the min balance requirement (sgd200, sgd500, etc) is still a hindrance for some people |

QUOTE(Toku @ Feb 4 2023, 10:54 AM) RHB also start allowing to apply for their sg account online already? if so, would be awesome if u could share the detailsi remember a year or two back, i applied from m'sia using their RHB Mobile SG app.. the onboarding process was done, but ultimately the application was declined specifically due to the acc is only for singaporean or foreigner with work permit QUOTE(!@#$%^ @ Feb 4 2023, 11:06 AM) yea true.. i mean for certain people, that requirement may still be a bummer considering there's another option where no min balance is require personally i don't mind the balance required but my OCD friend is finding that en eye-sore |

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Feb 18 2024, 04:14 PM) Use moneymatch. Remit on weekday 9am and it'll appear in sg bank by lunchtime. If under RM3k, can use duitnow overseas transfer is the duitnow overseas transfer only applicable to participating banks in SG such as OCBC? btw, what are the minimum balance required for both your ocbc acct? if CIMB SG, able to transfer MYR to SGD using duitnow overseas transfer? |

QUOTE(TOS @ Oct 1 2024, 10:25 PM) Hi sifus, just wondering.. anyone ever compare whether the rate for DuitNow Cross Border is the same or different across different providers? After eons, I finally open a TnG eWallet account (don't laugh at me, I don't see any point opening an eWallet account when Duitnow QR is everywhere, except my favourite cheap foodstalls... they all provide TnG eWallet QR only...) So, I discover that TnG eWallet allows DuitNow Cross border remittance from Malaysia to Singapore (but not the other way round, still have to use CIMB SG -> MY for that). Have anyone tried checking TnG eWallet's rate for remittance from MY to SG, is it better than Maybank MY's rate? (I know the daily limit is 3000 MYR, and not comparable with large volume transfer providers like Sunway Money or Wise or MoneyMatch). CIMB MY still haven't updated me why my transfer months ago failed... I give up on them... -------------------------- Also, have anyone tried Liquid Pay in Singapore? How are the FX rates like for Cross Border transfer from SG -> MY? https://www.duitnow.my/Cross-Border/fund-transfer.html I know OCBC charges a 1% spread (worse than the 0.3% imposed by CIMB SG -> MY) route. Don't have account with UOB and I don't trust Maybank SG or MY account after my card was hacked last time. That leaves Liquid Pay as the remaining option. eg. DuitNow Cross Border for MYR to SGD on the same day for the same amount.. are the rates same/different for MBB MY -> SGD as compared to TnG -> SGD? |

QUOTE(Medufsaid @ Oct 2 2024, 12:19 PM) Can someone show me the steps for TnG duitnow overseas transfer? so it's the same across the platform..I did compare before CIMB my-> Singapore and MBB my-> Singapore comparison for duitnow overseas transfer. It's identical so I expect tng to have identical rates |

if yes, can share how u manage to do it? if no, are u just ok with the paper statement? |
