I just tranfer SGD1000 to cimb fastsaver account, now I want to us Instarem to transfer it back to malaysia account. But I found out I can't tranfer using Instarem, the instarem seem like just allow me to tranfer from Malaysia MYR to other currency oversea.

About opening CIMB FastSaver account, after transfer the initial deposit SGD1000, how long it take for your guys to receive the 6 digit First Time Login code?

Just email to their customer service, they will respond very fast. I send email to CIMB SG, evening they already answer me as below. Not like here customer service took few days to weeks to respond.

How long for Transferwise transfer money from SG to MYR?

First time use Transferwise, send money at Tuesday 17th 4PM until today 19th still haven't receive it.

I just found out direct transfer from CIMB SG to CIMB MY is much cheaper than using Transferwise and is on the spot while I still waiting the transferwise for 3 days still havn't see my money bank in.

After linking FastSaver acc to my MY account get approved, Malaysian CIMB transfer rate is like this

SGD 330.70 >> MYR1009.30 (Rate 3.052 + Free of charge + On the spot)

While Transferwise is

SGD330.70 >> MYR999.97 (Rate 3.05549 + SGD3.43 Fees)

Direct transfer between CIMB much cheaper, RM10 gone!

I want to amend the above:

Transfer from SGD to MYR via CIMB is much cheaper than Transferwise as stated above, (via after you link your cimbclicks.sg with malaysia cimb account.

However from MYR to SGD, via Transferwise will be cheaper than going through CIMB MY to CIMB SG.

It should be no hiccup, the rate is automatic shown when you enter the amount to be transfer from cimb sg to cimb my (own account) and shown how much you need to paid( after successful link MY account at the cimbclicks.sg)

As Hasel also said cheaper and I remember from this thread somebody previously also said direct transfer back from SG to MY better.

because transferwise have extract fees and cimb don't have and cimb rate is just abit different from transferwise and it is immediately, the reason because it is their company internal transfer i think.

Finally after 3 days my money should be reach by today via transferwise (exhausted)

Next time I just direct tranfer from SG to MY via cimb

If you not confirm the SWIFT CODE , the better way is email or contact their customer services, they will response very fast as I did. This is the most efficient way, stop guessing

Yup, because is first transfer, My first transfer via TransferWise also need submit documents for verification, i submited approved everything but in the end I cancel the transfer because I was testing it. Second time, my real transfer took it 3-4 days to complete.

This is my story for your reference.

What documents required by them? I was required to submit a letter proved of address and driving license on first testing transfer.

I also opening the instarem account all going through online, snap photos driving license/ic, selfie, everything do online.

Afterthat everything done, just find out cannot use Malaysian instarem to transfer SGD to MYR, so I just change to TransferWise.

When try to apply for Isavvy MMB, it stated "your application could not be processed [S005], kindly go to nearest branch", "Fail Costomer profile checkup"

I saw some where stated OTP will be issued only during 9am to 9pm or else will be send via email. Maybe during your application is off working hour
Do you check your email?

It took 2.5 month from your submission to approval?
