Opening a Bank Account in Singapore

For those trying your luck at other DBS bank to open account; save the hassle and just go to MBFC to open a DBS vickers trading account. IN-directly they will open a dbs bank account for u  No need to be working in Spore, no need for Spore address. This was last year or so:- My colleague Msian, did that; went to other dbs branch to open account but was rejected, so went to DBS vickers to open trading acc; they go ahead with ur application means they will ask u to open DBS bank account straightaway there. I had DBS bank acc for quite some years now, only last 2 weeks i dropped by Spore to open a dbs vickers trading account. CDP account approvied, sgx everything approved.
