I've just opened a joint account at CIMB Sg
The instruction for transfer of the initial deposit SGD1000 for CIMB FastSaver account states :-
Would transfer from another Spore  joint account held by same applicants  to the  CIMB account work?
We do not have individual personal accounts in S'pore.
Or die die need to do initial transfer via CIMB My account?

Tested with S$1 - no response from CIMBSg yet

Anyone had similar experience?

I opened a CIMB SG recently too. I have transferred SGD10 from MY CIMB to SG CIMB. The rest SGD 990 I used WISE to transfer. Last week received a follow up email from them to ask some questions which I answered already. Now already 7 days since then. Hopefully will get a call or something from them this week.

Not exactly answering your question, But long long time ago, I used my CIMB MY atm card to withdraw rupiah from CIMB Indonesia atm, just need to using their forex rate, no extra charge. Fund was deducted from Malaysian account.
Likewise , with HSBC card @ UK

Re my initial deposit for CIMB S'pore, I tested with S$1 transfer from my joint account in another Spore Bank.
It showed up in my CIMB clicks online and the linked Sg account is shown as "active". Then transferred another S$999 from the same joint account. Immediately reflected in the account as seen in my CIMB clicks.MY.

It's been 2 days, I've not received any activation code  for CIMB Clicks Sg.

I thought something not right as their approval email says they will send  a 6 digit  activation code via SMS, to enable log-in to Cimb.Sg within 1 business day after account is activated.

So, the 'active' status i see on Cimb Clicks. MY  does not mean that the account is actived.

Yet his ego of having believed he is always right and he knows more than others could have prevented him to admit that he is wrong. It hurts too much to proven wrong again.
Try use nicer words to correct others, try not to use words like "not true" or "nonsense again", ...unless you are very certain to be correct.

SG worse place to honeymoon/holiday. I went there and not going back. Nothing to see and do in Singapore unless you like to see people put tissue on the table during lunch time. 

Agree. I only go there as I have relative working there too. Vacation is definitely a no no to me as there’s literally nothing much to see + it’s quite expensive. I can get better food back here too.

is the duitnow overseas transfer only applicable to participating banks in SG such as OCBC?

if CIMB SG, able to transfer MYR to SGD using duitnow overseas transfer?

Use ocbc or mbb Singapore, cimb sg not part of duitnow

If you need to send S$850 and above just use moneymatch as it'll be cheaper

Duitnow only worth it for sub$850

yes, i can confirm that you can use a Malaysian phone number for OCBC Singapore and to receive money via DuitNow

open OCBC 360 or MBB sg bank account. you'll get debit card

you can also transfer SGD to your Wise account. withdraw from sg ATM using Wise Debit card

Just use gxbank to withdraw money from any ATM card in Singapore. No need get cimb debit card.

i linked wise virtual card to google pay. no surcharge when paying SGD in singapore. just that SMRT you'll have 60 cents daily surcharge as the Wise card is M'sia registered

only issue is is S$289 in paper money (wise withdrawal) sufficient for a sg trip

paper SGD i change in midvalley anyway. since it's still cheaper than moneymatch
