I do find it odd that you have this 'additional' criteria at the premier wealth branches. Makes little sense to have 'different' policies.

And to have this stated on the official website without any uninformed additional criteria is just..

Yeah,... same happening to me too,... in the documents sent to you, they asked fro your Tax Fine Number too, right ? Actually, we do not have to reveal this, especially if Msia has chosen not to sign anything with SG.

I am still wondering how does revealing our Tax File Number affect us ? LHDN does not tax on foreign investment income - this is for sure.

Thats quite high fees no? 
I can only do cash deposit in SG otherwise Im charged about rm17 each time I make any sort of deposit?
If Im in Malaysia and transfer funds to say my MYR Maybank account, its like about rm50 fees?

To activate Cimb fast saver account, you need to perform a one time FAST transfer from a local SG bank account under your name. You can't do a TT or walk in for a FAST transfer.

Yes I got a notice through mail from them on this too.

I've checked with Maybank iSavvy, CIMB FastSaver, all require proof of residence in SG and proof of work in SG.

Is there any way I can open a bank account in SG as a Malaysian working in Malaysia? If possible through online only but I'm willing to drop by Singapore once or twice if required.. I work near JB now.

oh my goodness, i got charged sgd2 for maybank isavvy for falling below sgd500 daily average per month although it really isn't my fault. it got approved on 28 november, however, by the time it's fully activated it's already like 21 december. subsequently i loaded in sgd500 and obviously the daily average will not be more than sgd500.

anbody managed to get waiver?
