Can anyone with CIMB SG and MY account help me with this?

Can you withdraw SGD from CIMB SG account using CIMB MY debit card? My accounts are already linked and can see online.

I am going to SG tomorrow. πŸ˜…
*
Cannot. Also cimb ATM is found at one spot in Singapore, which is at their office. So not worth getting the atm card. Just go to counter and withdraw πŸ˜…

open OCBC 360 or MBB sg bank account. you'll get debit card

you can also transfer SGD to your Wise account. withdraw from sg ATM using Wise Debit card

Aiya...i don't want to open account lah bro. Tomorrow go already. Lol.

But yes, i actually thought just that, transfer from my CIMB SG to Wise SGD. Just now tested transfer SGD50 to see. It is pending review (i have submitted my internet bill) and the timeframe shows it should be done by 5pm if all goes well. Withdraw SGD using WISE from ATM got how much charges in Singapore? In Japan it was 100 yen for 2000 yen or something like that.

Updated:

Just found out. Now i remember there's 2 free withdrawal per month and as long as withdrawal is less than the limit, there is no variable fees charged.

i linked wise virtual card to google pay. no surcharge when paying SGD in singapore. just that SMRT you'll have 60 cents daily surcharge as the Wise card is M'sia registered

only issue is is S$289 in paper money (wise withdrawal) sufficient for a sg trip

paper SGD i change in midvalley anyway. since it's still cheaper than moneymatch

I think i will just use PHYSICAL WISE card directly in Singapore. No advantage for GooglePay...no points unlike Samsung Pay. Can't remember how i pay for MRT there the last time....maybe using card? What card they use there?

Brow, what do you mean by this? WISE will charge 0.60 no matter how many times you use your WISE card for this within the day?

Just checked and can't find my EZLink cards anymore....sigh.

CommodoreAmiga 60 cents daily surcharge is by SMRT, as they will detect that your card is non-local. Surcharge is fixed no matter how many times u used. Download simplygo app and link to your debit card. You'll get the fare breakdown

As far as Wise is concerned, you can use SGD balance without any fee

Better check on the ezlink card. Monthly S$1 fee after expiry until balance is zero

Looks like HSBC Singapore accepts customers residing overseas.

Has anyone successfully applied for HSBC SG account from Malaysia?
