Yes but as long as you got proof where the mieny came from (eg sales of stock), no issue.

Thanks. Your initial deposit was from Transferwise, no problem ah? In the IBKR thread I was told need to do initial transfer from CIMB MY (own account)....

btw, i noticed can change maybank debit card pin using app. is that pin for purchases only or ATM pin as well?

@Ramjade got it right. I only got a call from CIMB SG after I did the SGD1 transfer from CIMB MY. TransferWise SGD1000 was successful but did not prompt the CIMB SG call.

Ramjade really very experienced to be able to tell =). I just saw that CIMBClicks showing my SG account already, so just did the same thing (SGD1 transfer) successfully. Now will get my friend to put in SGD1k.

You can forget about DBS cause they won't entertain Malaysian without working pass, student pass.

Only way to open account with them is go down to marina bay financial center open a DBS vickers account with them.

No need 10 plus page back. There is one in the previous page itself. But glad you found another one.

I received their call on Monday, actually.... which is why I am wondering why have not received the code.
