Don't see eligibility. Ignore it.
For phone number delete away +65 and put +60 xxxxxxxxx (eg your phone number is 012 1234567 -> +60 121234567

After you are done they will give you an account number inside your email.

Yes finally i could hehe..thanks a lot Ramjade
Just submitted for approval to link my account then i could fund it from my CIMB MY.

Earlier i read there was 1 forummer who succeeded to fund using MYR 1 only from CIMB MY and the rest using instarem.

Is this possible just wondering? smile.gif

You can try but I wouldn't try it. Don't be a cheapskate. Pay once.

Something cannot be cheapskate. Just pay sgd1k using CIMB my. Then later use what ever fintech he/she chooses.

For CIMB - I successfully registered. Managed to get a friend in SG to transfer 1K SGD to my account, so now on my end I just need to link it up with my Malaysian CIMB and send 1 SGD to my account right?

If they were to call me will the reason - invest in Singapore work? Did anyone try anyone use any other reason?

Thanks!

Yes you can ask your friend to send you the money. It won't be activated. After 30 days if you don't transfer in money from a bank under your name they will auto close account and refund your friend that SGD1k. tongue.gif

There's a reason for asking you to use your own account to transfer money to active it. Is part of their KYC.

Yep! So as I've read one of the threads - 1 SGD is acceptable as well right from my CIMB? I'm now pending the link approval from CIMB Clicks Malaysia.

Theoretically it's possible. It's a loophole. But what happen if they close it?
