If the rate for Bigpay can stay as close to Instarem as this, RM8 is still cheaper than Instarem's 0.45% and can be covered easily with a transfer of RM1,800 and up.
I transfer at least RM2k each time so there is a cost saving for me over the total cumulative amount.
*
Based on my calculation I only see BigPay getting cheaper around SGD3,000 mark, unless my formula is incorrect. At 6:50-ish pm:

For SGD1000 (Instarem cheaper)
BigPay
RM3,086.44 + RM8.00 = RM3,094.44

Instarem
RM3,089.88 (fee inclusive 0.45%)

For SGD2000 (Instarem cheaper)
BigPay
RM6,172.87 + RM8.00 = RM6,180.87

Instarem
RM6,179.76 (fee inclusive 0.45%)

For SGD3000 (BigPay cheaper)
BigPay
RM9,259.30 + RM8.00 = RM9,267.3

Instarem
RM9,269.64 (fee inclusive 0.45%)

for the CIMB SG Fastsaver acc, I've transferred SGD1k to this acc from CIMB MY.

How can I access this fund? I mean, how can I transfer money from CIMB SG to elsewhere? Don't I get any username or password to access cimbclicks SG?

You should get a few SMS once your account is open and ready to initial deposit. One of those will be code for First Time Login registration https://www.cimbclicks.com.sg/wps/portal/sgRegistration

thanks! I didn't receive any code for first time login.
I deposited 1k to CIMB SG yesterday.

You can give CIMB SG a call or drop them an email at AtYourService@cimb.com and they'll call you back (same day or next business day). They're great in a way that they'll try to contact you at least during working hours and right after working hour plus notify you via email in event they failed to reach you.

What happened to me was I got the welcome SMS but not the First Time Login code and the guy on the phone just had to re-trigger an SMS with a fresh code over

for CIMB and Maybank, do they have dormant period? ie: inactivity in your account for x months will be classify as dormant
*
Typically 1 year for bank accounts - but if you're worried then you can do a transfer every month. That way you won't forget your username/password and the account(s) don't go dormant.

i tot once linked then i will have access to my cimb sg from my cimbclicks account? should be same for transfer no?
*
As far as I know, linkage only allows you to view your MY account balance from cimbclicks SG and vice versa. For actual transfers still have to login to the respective account country's cimbclicks

Dear proud holders of Sg account(s), are we now obliged to declare this on efiling?

I just declared yes. Source is my local taxed salary, nothing to hide.

Hmm, received a SMS and email saying my CIMB account is activated but no PIN to access Clicks SG. From what I read in the guides it appears that the PIN would be sent alongside it.

Anyone else having this issue? Just wanted to ask here before I call them.
*
The cimb clicks pin is sent in a separate SMS. You can drop CIMB SG an email on this, someone will call you and re-trigger the SMS to you during the call.

*Based on experience around Aug 2018 when I opened mine

I went to open CIMB MY Basic Saving account today (without annual charge). First branch rejected my application because I am "student"

I thought Basic Savings Account falls under no questions asked category, as long as you go to the branch near where your IC address is?
