I have CIMB MY account, I like CIMB MY more than maybank, so far so good for me

For me, I use CIMB more than 5 years already, I never got any issue or problem with CIMB

Then Maybank very difficult to use, sometime you use Maybank debit card withdrawal from MEPS ATM can, sometimes cannot then MEPS ATM will show system error. (I lazy drive to Maybank ATM)
Another example, sometimes you need do some setting on your Maybank online banking but you cannot do it because not the business hours, if you do at weekend also cannot (speechless), online banking will show system error masssage, CIMB never like this.

Even DBS was down a few months back as the largest bank in Singapore  🤦‍♀️ and most of the time when this happens it is usually in Monday and Friday morning the past few incidents

A question for the experts. When  you transfer larger amount of money from RM to USD/SGD, do you transfer RM30k per transaction  or lesser amount? Currently, I am transferring RM10k/transaction instead of RM30k. Downside is you incur more cost. Is there more scrutiny/risk if transfer RM30k at a time?

why would normal malaysians open SG bank acc??? unless u stay in JB or u go SG very often lar.... got business dealings etc.... if not for normal folks.... why wanna open a SG bank acc ah??? FD rate also super low......

Tried transferring from CIMB SG to CIMB MY a moment ago. Mid-market rate is 3.49, my 100 SGD becomes 348.37 MYR in CIMB MY (rate given 3.4837).

So that's about an 18 basis points spread.

seems like maybank sg not very email friendly. refuse to entertain banking matters via email. calling them would be expensive. so i asked them to call me, wonder if they will.
