QUOTE(myrancid @ Feb 21 2020, 09:54 PM) Get the HSBC premier account and you can request to open an account anywhere in this planet earth I don't think you can simply do that. You need to give them a reason.

QUOTE(myrancid @ Feb 24 2020, 11:31 PM) As a premier member, you can... I just told my premier relationship manager, that I’m going for yearly training in Singapore. Yes yearly. yes, you got a reason. That's why. I'm also premier but when I wanted accounts in other countries, they said I need to give them a reason.

QUOTE(Ramjade @ May 2 2020, 07:44 AM) Last time can. Since 1mdb they have blocked us. The only way left is from Malaysia side. Many thanks to 1mdb. Spoil our name internationally. actually with 1MDB, they should block high net worth individuals. Those with 10 millions etc... not small fishes like us.

Sorry to hitch on this thread a little, but is there a way for us to open a bank account in HK? Maybe via Public Bank, HSBC, StandChart like the way we did for SG CIMB/Maybank? QUOTE(Hansel @ Oct 12 2020, 03:31 PM) I know that blog. You have an account with IB. Have you tried buying a US baby bond and not have your interest payout 30% withheld ? Do you have first hand experience of this ? you don't use IB? What do you use? This post has been edited by moosset: Oct 13 2020, 01:54 PM
