Thank you very much for sharing your informative findings. notworthy.gif

It is a must for us to use the KE Trade Prefunded Account, to obtain the lower brokerage fee. The requirement to use KE Trade Account just for the sake of MCEP will incur higher brokerage fee.

The minimum balance of USD 10 in MCEP account definitely contradicts with the minimum balance of USD 1 stated in the Maybank Singapore website. So, we can say that the information in Maybank Singapore website is not updated.

So, you have strong faith that your investment in Keppel-KBS US REIT will provide good returns, isn't it?

In your opinion, (Distribution in Keppel-KBS US REIT minus losses in foreign currency exchange rate) is higher than (Distribution in some other S-REITS denominated in SG Dollars), right?

Ok, no worries. If your next findings can work and result in lower cost to invest in shares not denominated in SG Dollars, it would be great for all us.

Thank you.

Just open account. No need to use it. But from what I gather it's USD1 (from their customer service). But it's a hassle. Unless you can do it in person. If do via Malaysia need commissioner of oath if I am not mistaken.

When the price is low enough, whatever shit that they thow at us the dividends already in excess of 7%. Of course if you buy in at IPO price then yeah, you need to worry. I never buy IPO stuff. At the price when I buy in to get access to rights, dividends already > 9%. With rights price my dividends is >10%. Let's consider the rights no good, dividend is definitely >7%.

I am taking my distribution in USD so that I can buy something in USD. I ma not changing over.

Thanks for sharing your justification on good investment in Keppel-KBS US REIT. thumbup.gif

Can the trust balance of KE Trade Prefunded Account keep the distribution in USD?

For fund withdrawal of USD distribution, can we request Maybank KE to transfer the USD fund via EPS to Transferwise account (keeping the money as USD)? After all, the Maybank iSavvy savings account and CIMB Fastsaver account are denominated in SGD.

Guys,... yeah, try NOT to convert back your USDs into SGDs. The USD is anticipated to strengthen further in the coming months as the Feds raise the interest Rates.

For me if more > 7% ok already. No need to put high expectation. The lesser expectation the better. Won't be so disappointed if it fall below expectation.
But as mentioned by Knight, because the price we buy is so low, dividend should be quite high. Quite.

How can you tell the resultant yield you will be getting is going to be more than 7% if you do not know the estimated amt of the dpu post-acquisition and post-Rights Issue ?

So, what do you think the estimated dpu would be ?

I don't need to pening calculate here and there until cents. All I need to know is what's the % I am getting.

This 'REITDATA' table informs on current annuliased dpu before any cash-raising or other corporate exercises. To judge on whether an acquisition if good for unitholders or not, we should look at the annual dpu post-acquisition and post-exercise.

You do not know how to calculate the resultant dpu to a reasonable degree of accuracy !

You are merely working on the fact that,... hmm,... since my price is low enough, and the dpu remains the same as per pre-acquisition and pre-exercise, how bad can my yield drop ? And well,.... furthermore, how FAR can the dpu drop ?

I have estimated the total dpu payout from Listing Date, 9 November 2017 till end-of-4Q 2018 to be at least 6.62c.

This 6.62c CANNOT BE MAINTAINED post-acquisition and post-exercise. It will definitely drop !
