QUOTE(Hansel @ Oct 13 2018, 12:01 PM) Thank you, bros,.. for contributing to my discussion here,... and bringing up Maybank KE as a possible challenger to the offer given to me,... But Maybank KE has the $10k daily minimum balance condition,... whereas my brokerage does not. Mine is not Maybank KE,... Boss, what's the broker if not MKE, not disclosure?

QUOTE(Hansel @ Oct 13 2018, 01:36 PM) Bro,... I would like to disclose,.. but I'm still negotiating the package with them,... So, this brokerage does not provide the offer of 0.12% with no minimum commission and no monthly fees, openly to the public (retail investors)? Perhaps, this special offer is only given to high net worth individuals like you, who pledge to maintain high trading volume each month, right? Alright, Hansel. After the negotiation is completed, kindly tell us the name of the brokerage. Maybe, average Joes like me are not eligible for this special offer as of now. Perhaps, in the future when our net worth is in the same league as yours, we may be qualified to obtain this special offer. This post has been edited by kart: Oct 14 2018, 06:35 PM

It cannot perform EPS which means you effectively can't buy stocks or unit trust which requires EPS payment. You still can pay via fast.

QUOTE(Hansel @ Oct 14 2018, 06:01 PM) I am thinking of buying 100 units at a time of a certain counter to test out a theory.... To test a theory like buying 100 units at a time, you don’t need to actually buy the stock. You can use your own spreadsheet for simulation, or use a dummy account provided by the stock broker Save your time and hassle to “negotiate”. Your broker must be scratching his head why you need the minimum amount

Your broker must be scratching his head why you need the minimum amount Not all possible outcomes that a stock demonstrates can be observed by a simulation model,... I would prefer a real environment, whereby I would perform that activity to see if really the stock price can be 'controlled'. But having said this,... it's a theory that I have in mind,... it's not necessary that I would want to actually do this. It's a way to amuse myself, with the coming mkt correction... Doesn't matter what the broker thinks,...

QUOTE(myprop9 @ Oct 8 2018, 07:19 AM) Went to Menara Maybank last Friday morning to open iSavvy Account and the officer insisted on the bank draft whilst showing me other bank drafts submitted to open iSavvy Account. According to the Officer, the Bank Draft is the new requirement as of the last one month. Without the bank draft the submission will not be processed by Mbb SG. Told her that other Mbb branches have not insisted on the Bank Draft and her reply was they are not following SOP. Follow up from the above, submitted Application Form to open iSavvy on 5 October 2018 and Account was approved on 12 October 2018 of which MBB Singapore have advised that they have sent out the Welcome Package to me on the same day.

Need to be done via Cimb sg website. Wait for password + security token to come in your mail.

I m guessing he would issue out multiples of these 100s throughout the trade to influence the price. That's why negotiate for no minimum. Maybe he can clarify if what I assumed is correct.

I'd have to try my best to ensure compliance, and not to influence the mkt wrongly, breaking mkt governance rules. I believe in the SGX.
