I think it subjects to bank rate, the bank will calculate the rate for you.

You have to K ow Cimb is a pretty useless bank in SG. Only good thing is 1% p.a interest.

It cannot perform EPS which means you effectively can't buy stocks or unit trust which requires EPS payment. You still can pay via fast.

To test a theory like buying 100 units at a time, you don’t need to actually buy the stock.

You can use your own spreadsheet for simulation, or use a dummy account provided by the stock broker

Save your time and hassle to “negotiate”. Your broker must be scratching his head why you need the minimum amount

Not all possible outcomes that a stock demonstrates can be observed by a simulation model,... I would prefer a real environment, whereby I would perform that activity to see if really the stock price can be 'controlled'.

But having said this,... it's a theory that I have in mind,... it's not necessary that I would want to actually do this. It's a way to amuse myself, with the coming mkt correction...

Follow up from the above, submitted Application Form to open iSavvy on 5 October 2018 and Account was approved on 12 October 2018 of which MBB Singapore have advised that they have sent out the Welcome Package to me on the same day.

You want to buy/sell the last 100 unit of the day to control the price ? Like UMS now 0.68, you key in 0.80 and buy ? Can that work ?

Use FAST transfer. And no it cannot be done via Cimb Malaysia website. Need to be done via Cimb sg website. Wait for password + security token to come in your mail.

I m guessing he would issue out multiples of these 100s throughout the trade to influence the price. That's why negotiate for no minimum.
Maybe he can clarify if what I assumed is correct.
