a minor update
mostly things i did yesterday

user posted image

Cut d top panel with dremel...was sweating non-stop even it was raining n d fan spinning...better wear those protective glasses n face mask guys...this one gonna hurt bad if inhale sweat.gif
Rinse it with water afterward coz cant vacuum it completely

user posted image

With this pic I think it safe to say that im gonna mount d fan on top of radiator tho still undecided whether it should be pulling air in or out.Any suggestion icon_question.gif

user posted image

The platform wasnt cut perfectly, longer by a centimeter and i had to force the side panel to close it
Gonna make another one soon.

user posted image

Is this acceptable???
Need help on this...
As you can see from d 1st pic, i didnt cut any mount for the radiator but gonna put something like an adaptor from aluminium...still working on design tho

use thicker o-ring on ur BP fittings if leaks continue after fix w/o thicker o-ring. i suffer the same problem on my built on swiftech mcr320 radiator as well, the design of the thread seems favor thicker o-ring to prevent leak.

update but no pics

screw d panting big time...got pooling n everthing...but got no regrets tho,hahaha

imo, painting a case is not that difficult juz need right technique n parts

use a dremel to pop rivets initially but it takes an hour to pop 4-5 rivets n d dremel is hot to touch afterward...so i bought a driller for RM100 n finish d job in less than half an hour

used 2 brands of primer, dove n matahari, cost bout d same but ran out of dove afterward n hv to settle for matahari brand...difference between those two:while using dove, its quick to pooling n traps air between coats...n the spray is also thicker...matahari is thinner n no pooling even after 2-3 pass on a single coat...juz my opinion...

i used a lighter colour for my case...so d pooling n air bubble will be noticeable...

still a few coats of paint left to go but gonna continue on thurday...tmrw got kursus motivasi@mau bg mati...

I realise that if we DIY painting, its very difficult to get the paint job very even. And if using spray paint, it will easily chipped off when open/closing side panel. Unless we got very good skills. I highly recommend those who want to paint their case send it to powder coat. Either you can source for forumers here who offer this service or you can try your luck at thos shop who custom made furnitures. icon_rolleyes.gif

actually the two rads is for another gpu waterblock thats is not installed at the moment...the proc was oc'ed up to 3.75GHz untill the system reboot itself n lost all setting, since then dont have time to refine the setting anymore...while the gpu is oc'ed to 850MHz

considering EK's new gpu wb,the bridge edition,cun woo tongue.gif
