They are human too, so I'll give them a chance to fix this mess up, HOWEVER, if by saturday I still getting half of what I PAYED for, then there is hell to come to tm customer service

Have you harassed the 4Meg department to look into it yet? They can actually tell those Networking chaps at the Central Office to recap your speed to whatever it's supposed to be.

I got a hold of a nice 4 Meg rep who told the put me on hold while she told the Network Dept. to recap my line at 4 Meg.. and i only had to wait 10 minutes.. so i know it can be done... Kudos to her....

I'm using TP-Link 1043ND with DD-WRT as my router and a chiplak D-Link 2640T as my modem in bridge mode for my 4Mbps connection...

20 days uptime and counting... stable as heck, no disconnections... who says routers need to be expensive? XD

TP-Link's Products are not bad for their price range...

175.145.120.xxx here

Full speed to Europe.. but... when line is 100% loaded with DDLs, surfing sucks balls unless i enable QOS on the router.... then it's fine.

I just got my 4mbps, but they only upgraded the port. My account is still 512kbps. I called the techie who came to my house. He said it is something regarding B-Ras <--- if I'm not mistaken (definitely not woman's undergarment)

The techie mentions the system didn't set yet. But he already forward the issue to the related department for many times already.

What say you?

Sounds normal.

Took 24 hours from when the technician came to my house to activate until i got my speed. So yeah, it's normal for the system to take a day or so.
