hello guys, i have a huge problem, i cant seem to get a good night sleep for the past 3 months after i start working out at the gym...i know its weird but have any of you guys suffer from this problem too?? restless night....it took me 2 hours to sleep, its really annoying when you need to wake up early the next day for class.people tell me that maybe i am stress out that is why i cant sleep, but i am having my holiday now, i got nothing to be stress anymore..i tried not working out 6 hours before sleep, drink more water, drink milk before sleep and i stop taking caffeine. the thing is if i stop working out for 4 days the symptoms stop. please dont tell me i need to stop working out. guys help me!!! thanks

You're thinking too much about the coming workouts. The adrenaline's already hitting you the day before you start the session. That or you worry too much about whether you're growing or not, etc whether you did the right things at the gym and all that. Take a chill pill, it happens to overeager beginners.

Use the extra 2-3 hours to do something productive! Unlike me, hanging out here on Low Yat until I pass out.

Stop for a few days (or a week) and see if the problem goes away.
If it does, then you might need to change your workout time, or change the workouts you do.

Most ppl who are involved in bodybuilding suffer from insomnia because they think too much about bodybuilding. It can develop into chronic insomnia. I was one of them.
Ever since I have given up serious training, I can sleep much better now but still it will come back once in awhile.
